Frame Transformation

016

I purchased this very large frame for $5 at a yard sale last summer.

I loved the multiple layers and the outer layer’s design & detail.

I knew right away that I would be painting it white, but didn’t get around to painting it until a few weeks ago. I decided that for the time being I would use it to frame a bulletin {inspiration} board in my craft room.

I spent all day on Saturday in my craft room organizing, crafting, and working on more spring wreaths.

I made some new tacks for my inspiration board out of scrabble tiles…

and vintage pins.

  1. Gorgeous! Also, your wall color in your craft room is so pretty. Do you know what color you used? I'm in the process of picking out paint colors for my house.

  3. Love your frame – seeing it above the sewing machine made me realize how HUGE it is! What a great piece – you'll be able to use it hundreds of ways! Echoing envy of your space – if I had that I could really crank out some fun!

  9. What a neat idea. I admire folks who can look at something and make it look like something else. I look at stuff and think its neat, and wonder what I could turn it into. Good for you!
