Happy Friday Friends!
I am stopping in today to share a quick project with you all. Earlier this week I shared that I am currently recovering from a surgery I had on Monday. I knew that for Valentine’s Day I would be in bed resting and unable to really go anywhere so I took some time the previous week to put together a fun craft that I could also use to give the kids for Valentine’s Day.
I gathered some of my favorite crafting supplies:
Quilted Mason Jars
E6000 Glue
Rust-Oleum Linen White Chalked Paint
Cabinet Knobs
Steps for creating the mason jar canisters:
1.) Paint each mason jar and it’s lid
2.) Using e6000 glue adhere the cabinet door knob to each mason jar lid
3.) Lightly sand each mason jar
I filled each canister with a different flavor of M&M candies for them to all enjoy.
Once the kids devour the candy I will find another place in the house to use the canisters. I love how they feel Spring like too. I am craving warmer weather and can’t wait for Winter to head out next month!

The chalk paint covers the jars really well with two coats. I have a Mason jar that I painted with white chalk paint over three years ago and I use it as a candleholder… It has held up great too!

This is super cute! How does the paint hold up in the grooves?

I used two coats of chalk paint and because it is thicker it fills the grooves of the jar really well.

I love those tall jars, I have a few. I will have to try the Rustoleum Chalk Paint, as that is my go to brand for most everything. Great project, Sandi

Hi Laura! I removed the screw used to attach the knob to a drawer and then just glued the knob to the jar top.
