Hi there! I am Chas, the creator and contributor to Let’s Create! Let’s Create encompasses a number of my favorite passions. Those are sharing inspiration with others, bringing women together, finding forgotten treasures and making our house a home. Thank you for taking a moment out of your day to find my little blog. Here is a little bit more about me…

I am a wife to my wonderful husband who is a high school teacher/basketball coach, mom to three kiddos, and a photo taking – instagram addict. I couldn’t imagine my life without some form of creativity in it. I love to find forgotten treasures at thrift stores, yard sales, barn sales, and flea markets. I also love to pass those treasures on to others through my Esty Shop or local vintage sales. Making old into new is a favorite pastime of mine. I love giving my finds a new coat of paint or finding a new use for them.

My family and I live in a small Northern Michigan town where I work as the Chamber Director. My days are spent promoting the wonderful things about our small community. My evenings and weekends are spent in our home creating a cozy, collected space full of the things we love.

 I originally started blogging in 2009 after we purchased a two-story Victorian home in town. I was anxious to share the things that inspired me and to share the little improvements or projects I would do around our home. After 6 years of living in that home, we moved  last spring to a cottage-ranch style home in a small neighborhood just outside of our little town.

Another major hobby of mine is hosting monthly Let’s Create crafting events in our home or at other locations around our community. I have been hosting crafting events since 2013 and I love all the wonderful ladies I have met throughout that time. I truly love sharing the gift of creativity and gathering women together to craft with one another.
