20 Things I Look for at Thrift Stores

Even though I spend a lot of time at home in the Winter one thing I still love to get out and do on a regular basis is visit my favorite thrift stores. When searching for items I am usually looking for items to buy for decorating my own home, for supplying my Etsy shop, and for prepping for a local vintage sale. Throughout the entire year whether I a shopping at a thrift store, yard sale, or flea market I tend to gravitate to some of the same things.

I began decorating our old home with more grays and blues.

Recent Thrifting Finds

I love a good day of thrifting! I actually prefer it over any other type of shopping except maybe shopping for books. I love finding unique one-of-a-kind items for our home. Another hobby of mine is also finding items to pass along to others. This Summer I attended a couple vintage fleas as a vendor and I loved it!

Vintage Plate Wall

I am here today to share a favorite little corner of my dining room. I love to thrift shop and buy second hand! Most all of the items in our home other than the larger items like our sofas, love seats and beds all have been purchased second hand. I rarely buy any decorative items brand new or retail.
