Happy Wednesday Friends!

A few days ago I shared 10 ideas for enjoying a long Winter Indoors. Today I am sharing a fun and easy project that you can do with your children. Kids love feeding animals and my kids have always loved watching the birds gather for a treat in front of a window in Winter too.

This project is so easy that any age kiddo would be able to help make these birdie treats.

Items needed:

1 package of Knox Unflavored Gelatine

6 Tablespoons of boiling water

2 Cups of Birdseed

Large Bowl

Mini Cake Molds or Cookie Cutters

The first step is to mix 6 Tablespoons of water and one package of the gelatine in a mixing bowl. Add 2 cups of birdseed to the mixture.

I used a set of vintage bundt pans that I had on hand but,  this bundt cupcake pan  would work great too!

Fill each bundt pan with the mixture.

Let the filled pans sit in a cool place for at least 4 hours.

Hang with twine outside for the birds to enjoy!
