Happy Wednesday Friends!
With the Holidays right around the corner I wanted to share a simple handmade gift idea.
Once or twice a year I like to host a clothing swap party. The last party I hosted I choose a “Sip & Swap” theme. Everyone was asked to bring a bottle of wine for us to “sip” while shopping through the clothes that were brought.
With the “Sip & Swap” theme I thought it would be fun to do a little craft to tie into our theme. I came up with the idea of making decorative cork stoppers out of cabinet knobs.
Supplies:
Replacement corks
Decorative Cabinet Knobs
Drill & Drill Bit
Using a small drill we drilled through each cork and then threaded the knob thru each one.
It was a fun and easy craft that would make a cute gift for any friend who loves wine! Especially for those friends whose bottle of wine doesn’t last long.
Visit back next Wednesday for another handmade gift idea! Throughout the month of November I am sharing a few gift ideas each week.
These Spindle Boxes I made over the Summer would make a cute gift also.
Thanks for stopping by!

Love the knob wine stoppers. Would make a lovely present. I have a few odd knobs lying around at home ripe for transformation into stoppers.

I like your idea of drilling the hole through the cork. I made some and glued the knob to the cork but
it eventually fell off.
