What I Read in January

Have I shared with you how much I love to read? I have a whole drawer of my nightstand dedicated towards storing books that I would like to read in the future while also having a stack on ones I am currently reading on my nightstand. I usually have 3 or 4 books started at once. I usually find more time to read in the Winter, but I also like to end my day reading before I fall asleep each night.

Chicken Pot Pie Freezer Meal

Making a big batch of the Chicken Pot Pie filling and freezing it ahead of time is a big time saver for us too. I typically take the pie filling out of the freezer the night before we would like it for dinner and place it in the fridge for it to defrost overnight.

I thought a large portion of the silverware would need to be thrown away because of how dirty it all was. I was hoping to salvage enough pieces to use in various projects so I got to work trying to find the easiest way to clean it all.

20 Things I Look for at Thrift Stores

Even though I spend a lot of time at home in the Winter one thing I still love to get out and do on a regular basis is visit my favorite thrift stores. Throughout the entire year whether I a shopping at a thrift store, yard sale, or flea market I tend to gravitate to some of the same things.
